Joseph has been with David Douglas Diamonds since he was born! He and his Father, Doug Meadows, share the responsibilities of owning and operating our beloved jewelry store. He may not have the drawing talent of his design counterparts, but he can bring anything to life in CAD! He is constantly working on designs for clients ranging from simple tweaks on beloved pieces to building something entirely from scratch. He is a master-level CAD artist. He won his first design contest in 2010 at the Gemvision Design Symposium. More recently he participated in a live competitive design contest at the Atlanta Jewelry Show in 2019. He walked away as the South's winning designer! In 2022 he was invited as a panelist to discuss the current state of custom design at Stuller Settings, the largest jewelry manufacturer in the United States. Then in 2023 he was invited to lead a worldwide virtual design presentation/walkthrough for other CAD artists. He is well respected in the industry for his skills making him an invaluable member of the design team. He brings Haley and Nicole's designs to life with ease and enthusiasm!
In his spare time you can find him walking through Home Depot with the honey-do list in hand, drinking a cold one while "cutting yard", and hiking with his furry four-legged friend!
