In Memory of
Barbara Jean Meadows

In 1990, Doug Meadows, the owner of David Douglas Diamonds & Jewelry, lost his mother to cancer. This contest is to honor her and for students to honor their mothers–to express their love and appreciation through a writing exercise.
We offer this contest to students in grades Kindergarten through 5th. Last year we had over 7,000 entries.
